This magnificent flatweave Kharita Moroccan runner from the Ait-ougharda region of Taznakht, is of the finest quality Kharita rugs in Morocco. The motifs have a blurred almost shaky look as if seen through a distorting lens. The partitioning is not square or rectangular but rounded, almost reminiscent of the oculus shape. The weave structure on these rugs is unique in that these rugs are reversible.
